In these tempestuous times, Bertolt Brecht’s famous play about justice, love and possession is as relevant as ever. <\/p>\n

Western Australia’s Black Swan Company clearly recognizes this, with a new production of the classic play that promises to be very, very special.
\n<\/p>\n

For the first time the theatre group is collaborating with another company – the National Theatre of China. <\/p>\n

Brecht incorporated a classical Chinese folk tale in his play, so it is a creatively interesting connection to make – what’s more the National Theatre of China’s Dr Wang Xiaoying is directing the play. <\/p>\n

The play is running until the 14th of August at the Heath Ledger Theatre in Perth. <\/p>\n
