Spring Sunshine & Winter Sports in Bavaria
Winter may be giving way to spring across many parts of Europe, but in the Bavarian Alps, the ski season extends until the 01 May. And Karma Bavaria is close to some world class Alpine slopes, including Germany’s tallest mountain – Zugspitze, where you are pretty much guaranteed snow through the season. There are gentle slopes for beginners and younger thrill seekers of course and things get seriously high octane on some of the steeper, longer runs. Wallburg is another great option – just 20 minutes from Karma Bavaria, it features the longest sledge run in Germany, at 6.5km! Mountains not high enough for you? Then why not try paragliding over the snowy Alpine peaks instead – a must try for all you adrenalin junkies out there!
