Karma Group Big Winners at 2018 Perspective Magazine Awards

Karma Group and Chairman and Founder John Spence have taken out several prestigious awards at the 2018 Perspective Magazine Awards, announced at the GNEX Conference in Florida.
The Perspective Magazine Awards, a global recognition program for the timeshare/vacation ownership industry held its 8th annual awards program on February 26–28. Each year, vacation industry companies and individuals vie to win one or more of the 30+ accolades up for grabs that span a wide variety of market segments. Winners are announced in front an audience of senior-level peers at the renowned GNEX Conference, which this year was held aboard a $40 million mega-yacht – the world’s first mega-yacht event venue, and one of America’s largest privately owned yachts, in Miami, Florida.

Best Resort – Asia Pacific – Karma Kandara
This award lets everyone know what really makes Karma Kandara stand out. From the stunning location, unique architecture, quality of the accommodation and the impressive amenities, to the excellent level of customer service. Where applicable, this category offers up to four separate accolades based on geographical location of the nominees – North America, Latin America, Europe Middle East & Africa, Asia Pacific. The winners of each region are then automatically entered into a fifth Worldwide Award, which will be won by the nominee with the highest overall score from the previous round.
Entrepreneur of the Year – John Spence
As the winner of this award, John Spence has demonstrated that he is someone who embodies the true spirit of the industry, who has taken new ideas, calculated risk/reward decisions, created new products, programs, alliances and has driven Karma Group to new heights over the past year. It is entrepreneurial vision that has sustained the industry and this award recognizes some of the present pioneers that will drive the industry forwards in the years to come.
